What is SPRILA?

A subsidy scheme in the Netherlands aimed at organisations that want to build private charging infrastructure on their own or rented property.

For whom?

Organisations with a Chamber of Commerce registration established in the Netherlands.

What for?

This subsidy is for the purchase and installation of EV charging infrastructure. In combination with the charging infrastructure, you can also apply for a subsidy for a stationary battery.

Conditions:

Your subsidy per location is at least €2,500
Your charging infrastructure has:
- One or more DC charging stations with 20 kW of capacity or more
- One or more AC charging stations with a power of at least 11 kW

How much?

A maximum of €350,000 per calendar year per applicant.

Application period:

March 25, 2025 - December 19, 2025

Whether you're eligible for more or less than €25,000 subsidy determines when you apply.

Less than €25,000

First, you have to build your charging infrastructure, and then you must apply for the subsidy within 13 weeks of completion.

More than €25,000

You apply for the subsidy before the work is carried out.

Applying for SPRILA

Submit your application

The application period starts at 9:00 on March 25th, 2025, and ends at 12:00 on December 19th, 2025.

Get a confirmation e-mail

A confirmation will be sent to you by e-mail.

Get a decision on your application

You should get the official decision on your application within 13 weeks after submission.

Request determination

With applications of €25,000 or higher, you must apply for determination within 24 months of getting your charging stations up and running to receive the remaining subsidy amount.
